Transfer Students
Transfer Your Credits to Shawnee State
Don't let your previously earned credits go to waste.
If you've already earned credits from another college or university, you can easily transfer them to apply toward your online program at Shawnee State University Online Campus.
| Degree Level | Maximum Number of Transfer Credits Allowed |
|---|---|
| Undergraduate | 90 |
| Graduate | 9 |
When you apply for admission, you will need to submit official transcripts from each institution you have attended, along with high school transcripts and ACT/SAT scores (if you're 21 or older, you don't need to submit ACT/SAT scores). After you've submitted all of your transcripts, a member of our transcript team will review your transcripts and evaluate how credits may be applied toward your program.
You can also view a comprehensive list of transfer equivalencies to see which credits will transfer at our Transfer Evaluation System website. We accept all credits from courses that resulted in a D- grade or above. However, many of our programs require a C or higher to fulfill major requirements.
